This is just a small reminder that the Picnic is this coming Sunday in Playfair Park starting at Noon. Here’s hoping that you’ll all be able to turn out and have some fun in the sun!
I would like to take the opportunity to give a big thank you to John and his core team for all their efforts in organizing this fun event! And, to all the others who toil in anonymity putting up and taking down posters, along with the myriad of other support tasks required to put on this kind of fun neighbourhood experience. Without you all, we wouldn’t be able to take on events like this.
In the end, things like the Picnic are a really wonderful opportunity to show off a local park and give something back to our community - after all, that’s the reason we all give of our time and energy to the Association in the first place. And, while this may not always be noticed by our neighbours, there are legions of people out there who really are very appreciative of what you all do.
